iPhone 7 - Audio Issues?

With the iPhone 7, how does someone listen to music and charge at the same time? Obviously, the work around is to use wireless buds, but those only last 5 hours. I'm thinking of a long air plane ride or plugging your phone in while you listen to music.

Something like this would work, but this is only a concept image (from Tama, TSH03JM) and it seems way too bulky for everyday use!

Further, will your audio controls on your existing headphones work with the Apple Lightning-to-3.5mm dongle?

Lastly, NONE of Apple's lineup includes a lightning port - so are we meant to carry two pairs of headphones or will there be a USB to Female lightning cable for that purpose?

Obviously, I want to get the new iPhone - but these are some big issues for an audiophile!

Mac Pro (Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

Third post I've seen today for the same thing. Here is what I posted in another thread:

Belkin announced an adapter with two lightning ports for $39.99. One for charging, and one for your new lightning headphones.

In regards to the lightning port being on other devices, I believe Apple will either update their Mac lineup to include a lightning port, or release a female adapter.
